MEAL DELIVERY Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week. What a great way to help support our local community!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR GSLC annual Ladies’ Night Out will be held March 31, at 5:00 pm. No matter what you call it, be there that Sunday for dinner and fun. The guys will cook, serve, and clean up while the ladies relax. The whole family is welcome… but door prizes are just for the gals! The men will need to bring something yummy for the famous “dessert buffet”. This will be a great way to kick off our favorite time of year, Spring! We will have an ole’ fashioned BBQ with all the ‘fixins’. Contact Dave or Lora Wacker for more information. Watch for sign-up sheets soon as we will need an accurate head count.

WATERED GARDENS MISSION PROJECT The LWML is having a non-perishable food drive during the months of March and April to help fill the shelves at Watered Gardens. Please place your donations in the basket provided in the narthex. Monetary donations can also be given to Mary Parks, Diana Endicott, or the church office.

KIDS KITS There are bags in the narthex just outside of the sanctuary that are intended for children to use during the service. The new kits have been provided and are going to be maintained by the GSLC Friends Bible Study Group. There are some items in the bag that are marked that can be taken home. Most items in the bag are intended to stay in the bags so that they can be used each Sunday.

LENT began March 6, with our Ash Wednesday services. We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

WOMAN’S FELLOWSHIP GROUP The Women’s Fellowship Group will start meeting again on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9-10 am at Mother Road Coffee in downtown Carthage. Our next meeting is this Saturday, March 16. Please bring your Bible along. All women are welcome to join us!

FLOWER CHART, 2019 If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway. Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.
