† VBS will be held Sunday, July 25 – Thursday, July 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.   Student registration pages are available in the Christian Ed. area outside the sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form.  You may also register at https://vbsmate.com/events/gslcarthage.  If you would like to help out by donating items for VBS, please use the list posted in the Narthex area.  You can also help out by attending the VBS Work Day scheduled for Saturday, July 17, beginning at 9:00 am.  There will be tasks ranging from organizational and clerical to artistic and creative, so there is something for everyone.

             We are now printing large print bulletins. 

               The rows in the back half of the sanctuary remain roped for those for whom spacing is a concern. 

       The offering plate is located at the back of the sanctuary. 

       If you would like to offer any feedback we would welcome it. 

† TINY TOT SUNDAY SCHOOL is being offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the nursery classroom by Doug and Peggy S.  It is a 15 minute class to get the little ones used to coming to Sunday School.

† FLOWER CHART  The flower chart has a few empty spots coming up in August and September.  If you would like to help with this please sign up on the chart next to the water fountain outside the office.

† RECEPTION  This afternoon, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Purdy, MO is having a reception to celebrate Pastor Schnackenberg’s 50 years in the ministry.  It will be held at the church at 2:00 pm.

† THANK YOU  As the song goes “He’s still working on me…”, God is still working in and on me and I am so very thankful!  I am also so thankful for my Good Shepherd friends and family.  There have been so many acts of love and kindness I can’t even list them all.  I still have a way to go but with God, my medical team, and my church family supporting me I’ll get there. ~Karen P.
