† IN OUR PRAYERS  Ruth B., recovering from surgery to remove a tumor on her voice box; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† LENT starts Wednesday, February 17, with our Ash Wednesday services.  We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and   7:00 pm throughout Lent. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your    Lenten observance.

† HYMNALS  The hymnals are back in the pews.  If you would like to use a song sheet instead, they are available at the back by the sound booth. 

† SERVICE OPTIONS  We are offering a ‘Service of the Word’ on the first and third Sunday’s of the month and a ‘Service of the Sacrament’ on the second and fourth Sundays.  The next Service of the Sacrament will be on Sunday, February 14 at 8:00 am.  Because these are high precaution services we encourage everyone to wear masks and we will have minimal singing. 

† ALTAR FLOWERS  The 2021 flower chart still has several empty spots.  If your would like to put flowers on the altar please sign up on the list hanging on the wall by the water fountain.  It’s a wonderful way to honor a loved one, celebrate a special occasion, or to say “thank you, Lord” for blessings received.

† SERVICE OPTIONS  We are offering a ‘Service of the Word’ on the first and third Sunday’s of the month and a ‘Service of the Sacrament’ on the second and fourth Sundays.  January has a fifth Sunday so we will have an extra Service of the Word this month.  The next Service of the Word will be on Sunday, February 7.  Because these are high precaution services we encourage everyone to wear masks and we will have minimal singing.  Starting next Sunday, February 7, the beginning time for these services will change to 8:00 am.

ALTAR FLOWERS  The 2021 flower chart still has several empty spots.  If your would like to put flowers on the altar please sign up on the list hanging on the wall by the water fountain.  It’s a wonderful way to honor a loved one,  celebrate a special occasion, or to say “thank you, Lord” for blessings received

† THE QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING will be held today after the 9:00 am Worship Service.

† 2020 OFFERING CONTRIBUTIONS  If you wish to receive a record of your GSLC charitable contributions for the 2020 tax year, please talk to Glenn Moll or   Denise Golden or you can contact the church office, 358-1325.

† THE QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING will be held January 24 after the 9:00 am Worship Service.  If you desire to view the January 24 Voter’s Meeting online, please let the church office know early this week so they can allow you to      sign-in to the meeting.  We cannot open the Voter’s Meeting to the public as    in done with the church service.  We will strive to provide to those of you watching online any meeting handouts via mail or email.
