† EASTER EGGS  We will be filling plastic eggs for the Sunday School Children.  Christian Education is asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy to fill the eggs.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

† LENT This Wednesday, April 6, will be our last midweek Lenten services before the special services of Holy Week.  Pastor Fittje from Lockwood will be here to lead our services (Pastor Mehl will be in Lockwood).  There will not be Confirmation class that evening.

† INVITATION  Kick off Holy Week by going to enjoy Handel’s Messiah performed by the Southern Symphonic Chorus today at 3:00 pm, at Central Christian      Center, 410 S. Virginia, Joplin.

† BACK PEWS  We would like to transition away from the spacing between the back pews of the sanctuary.  If spacing is a concern for you, speak to a member of the Board of Elders or Pastor.

† CARD RACK  The card rack located in the narthex has been restocked with all new cards, make sure to check it out!

† BAPTISM  We rejoice with Alvin and Gretta M. at the baptism of their daughter, Elise Lynn M., in the service this morning.  We ask God to bless this family always with His love and grace.

† THANK YOU  While Megan and then Peter were in the hospital it was helpful to receive meals from various members in the congregation.  Thank you to everyone who contributed meals or any other assistance to us.     ~ The Mehls

† ST PATRICK’S DAY FELLOWSHIP DINNER   The Fellowship Committee is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner this Thursday, March 17, at 6:00 pm.  The dinner will feature corned beef and cabbage.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.  If you plan to attend, there is a sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex.

† DEVOTIONALS  We have devotional books to share with the congregation this Lent season.  “In View of God’s Mercy” devotional books are available in the Narthex on the table by the nursery.  Please take only one copy per family.

MEAL TRAIN  There is a meal train set up for Pastor and Megan.  We are asking for 3 meals a week.  You can find the link on Good Shepherd’s Facebook page or Donya Moll’s Facebook page.  Personal invitations can be sent by email, there is a sign up on the table in the narthex.  If you have any questions please contact Donya M.
