Good Shepherd has an active youth program. The youth participate in various activities.
Plans are being made for the youth to travel to the LCMS 2010 youth gathering in New Orleans. The youth will be working at many fund raising activities to make the trip possible.
Good Shepherd members support mission efforts throughout the world.
Two members, Cheryl and Bradley M., recently returned from a mission trip in Africa. They helped with chidrens ministry and worked on the construction of a house/administrative space for a school. They provided a very interesting presentation about their experience during sunday morning bible study following their return.

Childrens Sunday School classes are provided for all grades through high school.
Following the Sunday school childrens’ opening the adult Bible study begins. This is usually lead by Pastor Schnackenberg. Everyone is welcome to share in the discussion.
Currently we are studying 1 Peter.
