† IN OUR PRAYERS  Bob S., placed on hospice care; Shirley N., undergoing treatment for cancer; Jim B., undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† YOUTH PARENTS  There will be a short meeting with Pastor Mehl today after the service.  This will be to discuss ideas, scheduling, goals, etc.  The more information and involvement Pastor has from the parents, the better he can help them be the Body of Christ and grow in their faith.

† A CONFIRMATION PARENT MEETING will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at 6:45 pm.  We will meet in the fellowship hall to discuss the upcoming confirmation year.

† CONGRATULATIONS to Brooke G. and Blake P. who were united in marriage yesterday.  We rejoice with them and pray for God’s blessings as they begin their life together as husband and wife.

† Evangelism/Discipleship Workshop Immanual Lutheran Church in Joplin has extended us an invitation to attend an Evangelism/Discipleship Workshop led by John Perling, Director of Missions MO District LCMS on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Please RSVP by August 17.

† SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL  Make sure to Join us for Summer Sunday School.  We are continuing a fun summer of activities as we finish out our last month of Summer Sunday School.  There will not be Sunday School on September 6.  Rally Day for the Fall is set for Sunday, September 13.

† OFFERINGS  The Summer quarter offering from Sunday School and Adult Bible Class and the offering from this year’s Vacation Bible School will be going to Children’s Haven in Joplin, MO.
