† SOCKTOBER The youth group would like to have a community service project during the month of October. LYF will set up collection bins at the church. We ask that members donate cold weather items such as socks, gloves, scarves, hats, and sweaters as well as toiletry items such as deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and fluoride rinse. At the end of the month of October, the youth will deliver these donations to Children’s Haven.
† MEAL DELIVERY Monday, October 10, through Friday, October 14, is Good Shepherd’s week to deliver meals for the Over-60 Center. If you can help with this worthwhile project, please contact Betty E.
† SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERING Starting in September and going through the end of the year, Sunday School offerings, both the adult and the children’s, are being designated to Immanuel Lutheran’s Comfort Dog Team’s fund for medical expenses. Our previous goal for Children’s Haven was $1,000 and we achieved that goal. Lets see if we can exceed that amount this time! Thanks so much for your support of this project.
† Organist Needed If you or someone you know can play the piano or organ and would be willing to play for church one Sunday per month, please let Pastor or Greg Golden know. We are looking to add another player to the organist roster!
† ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
† NURSERY/CRY ROOM Should your child become distressed or distract others during the service, a furnished nursery/cry room is located in the narthex for your use. Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions.
