Wednesday Midweek Lenten Services 11:00 am and 7:00 pm

Lent starts Wednesday, March 1, and we will again hold an additional service each Wednesday at 11:00 am. This is to give those who do not drive at night or who have evening activities an opportunity to attend the midweek services.
The Ash Wednesday service, which marks the beginning of the Lenten season, will again have the dispensation of ashes and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.

Ladies Night Out

March 19 at 5:00 pm

The Ladies’ Night Out dinner, with a St. Patrick’s Day theme, has been set, so mark your calendars for this fun-filled event which only happens once a year!

Ladies, the men will be serving us, so come prepared for a nice dinner. Guys, this is your night to serve and clean up. Come and enjoy some wonderful food, entertainment, a fun fellowship.

We will also have our famous dessert bar. Bring a favorite dessert to add to the dessert buffet.

Please use the sign-up sheet in the narthex, or call the church office, 358-1325, if you plan to attend, so we will know how much food to prepare. You won’t want to miss this enjoyable gathering!

Lenten Devotions

Lent will start with Ash Wednesday on March 1. The season of Lent is one of thoughtful reflection. During this time of the church calendar Christians ponder the unfolding events that led to Jesus’ condemnation, crucifixion and resurrection. If you are looking for devotions to use during Lent, there are booklets on the information desk in the church narthex from the Lutheran Hour Ministries. If you have not done a personal devotion or family devotion before, this would be a great time to start.

See you in worship!
