Church Services: When we’re having extreme weather, watch the KOAM-TV scroll cancellation notices on the bottom of your television screen for possible church service cancellations.
PARKING: If you need assistance parking when the lot is snowy, pull your car under the breezeway and ask for assistance from an usher.
If you would like to participate in the Secret Sister program for 2017, there are forms on the round table in the narthex of the church. Please take a form, fill it out, and return it to Diana E. or put it in her mailbox in the church office by Sunday, December 11. You do not have to be a member of LWML to participate; all women are welcome.
The LWML is sponsoring a Christmas Holiday centered evening for all the ladies of the congregation, Sunday, December 11, at 5:30 pm, at the Rollins Creek Clubhouse.
You don’t have to be a member of LWML, or a participant in the Secret Sister Program, to take part in this evening of fun with your fellow Good Shepherd Christian Sisters.
Plan on dinner, the secret sister reveal and a Christmas gift exchange! If you’d like to participate in the gift exchange, just bring a wrapped Christmas item, $5.00 or less (it doesn’t have to be an ornament). If not, that’s fine, too. The Christmas story is always beautiful, but when told through the voices and faces of our children, it becomes even more special. Be sure to attend this year’s program entitled, A Gift From Heaven Above, presented on Sunday evening, December 18, at 7:00 pm. This year the Sunday School children took part in writing some of the lines in the script for the program explaining what Christmas means to them! Please, come and enjoy the story of Jesus’ birth and listen for the lines written by the children. There will be refreshments following the program.
