† LWML is having a bake sale today in the narthex after both services.  Make sure to check out the delicious goodies!

† EASTER EGG HUNT  Once again the Board of Education (with a lot of help from our Lutheran Youth Fellowship) is sponsoring the annual   Easter Egg Hunt.  The excitement begins right after the breakfast Easter Sunday, so bring your own basket and get ready for some fun.

† LOVE OFFERING  At the Easter Breakfast the LWML will be taking up a love offering which will go to the Lutheran Youth Fellowship who will be helping with the breakfast.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL  The Sunday School students are singing today at the beginning of the late service.

† EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP  The Easter breakfast sign-up sheet is in the narthex on the round table.  Please take a moment to check it over and then put your name by what you are willing to bring.

† VBS PLANNING MEETING on Sunday, April 23, after the late service.  We would love to have anyone & everyone interested in being involved in VBS this year at our planning meeting.  It would be great to have a large group involved in the planning process.

† HOLY SATURDAY PRAYER VIGIL  There is a sign up sheet for our Saturday, April 15^th, Prayer Vigil on the narthex round table.  Please consider signing up for a 15 minute slot.  Certainly you are welcome to come in for prayer at anytime and you can stay as long as you want, but we would like to have someone here in prayer through the entire 12 hour time period.

† GRADUATES  In the May issue of the Shepherd’s Staff we want to recognize all those who are graduating or have graduated this school year from either high school, college, or trade school. Please submit a photo along with a bio to the church office by April 21. Please let us know all about your accomplishments and about your future plans.

† ANNUAL FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY CAMPOUT  The annual Friday Night Family Campout has been scheduled for April 21 – 22.  This event will be held at the “The Fishing Hole” (Dale & Lee Ann Beshears’ property south of Lockwood).  Please contact Dale with any questions. There is a map with directions and a sign-up sheet in the narthex.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERINGS  The Sunday School & Adult Bible Class offerings for the Spring quarter are going to LCMS World Relief & Human Care to help with the relief efforts after the recent tornados in New Orleans.

† EASTER LILIES  If you would like to purchase one or more lilies to help adorn our sanctuary on Easter, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.  The cost is $8.00 each.  Please pay Diana E.

† ALUMINUM CAN TABS  It’s time for GSLC to start collecting aluminum can tabs again!  Audrey Garoutte’s Technology Student Association (TSA) team is collecting them to help Montana Cole.  Montana is a 14 year old girl from Kansas who has been fighting a brain tumor for the past 5 years.  The money from the tabs will go to help her family with all of the hospital bills.  The tabs can be placed in the container in the narthex on the table outside the nursery.  Thanks for your help with this.

† NURSERY/CRY ROOM  Should your child become distressed or distract  others during the service, a furnished nursery/cry room is located in the narthex for your use.  Please ask one of the ushers if you need  directions.

† PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.

† TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS has started meeting again with Pastor Mehl at 9:30 am on Tuesdays.

† EASTER EGG HUNT  The LYF will be filling the plastic eggs for the annual Sunday School Easter Egg hunt.  They are asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the youth room or they can be dropped off in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

† LENT started Wednesday, March 1, with our Ash Wednesday services.  We are once again having weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

† THE LADIES’ NIGHT OUT DINNER was a very enjoyable evening of  wonderful entertainment and great food!  Thanks so much to Lora Wacker for heading this event up and all those who helped her put it together!
