† OVER-70 DINNER  The youth group is hosting our annual Over-70 Dinner tonight beginning at 5:30 pm.  The evening will include dinner,  dessert and entertainment provided by the youth.  Congregation members that are 70-years-old or older are invited!

† ANNUAL FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY CAMPOUT  The annual Friday Night Family Campout has been scheduled for June 8 – 9.  This event will be held at the “The Fishing Hole” (Dale & Lee Ann B’ property south of Lockwood).  Please contact Dale, with any questions. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex.

† SUMMER WORSHIP  Starting today, for the summer months, we will have one worship service on Sunday and it begins at 9:00 am.  Sunday School and Bible class will be at 10:30 am.

† VBS REGISTRATION  There is a table set up in the narthex under the education bulletin board with registration forms for this year’s VBS.  If you would like to register for Vacation Bible School online, you can so that at: http//vbsmate.com/events/gslccarthage/16342.  If you would like this year’s VBS t-shirt you will need to register by July 1.

† VBS HELPERS  Are you interested in helping with this year’s vacation    bible school?  The theme this year is “Splash Canyon – God’s Promise on Life’s Wild Ride.”  The dates will be July 22 – July 26.  We are in need of group leaders, group helpers, station assistants, etc.  In addition we will be needing some help with our kick-off potluck and water games day which will be held at the church on Saturday, July 21.  If you would like to help out with either of these or both, please let Nicole Backerman or Cindy Eaton know or you can contact the church office, 358-1325.

† WATERING AT THE CHURCH  GSLC is looking for youth and adults who would be willing to help with watering around the church grounds this summer.  If you would be able to help with this, please contact Doug S.  It would be great to have a lot of people willing to help out so it isn’t so much work for any one person!

† WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP GROUP  The Women’s Fellowship Group (formerly called the Mom’s Group) will be meeting every 4^th Saturday of the month at 10:00 am in the church Fellowship Hall.  Any and all women are welcome to join us for brunch and fellowship time.  Our next meeting will be this Saturday, May 26.  Please join us and feel free to invite others!
