† SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED  We are in need of Sunday School teachers for the fall quarter.  If you would be interested in helping out in this area please contact Kayla H.  Teaching our children is a very fulfilling experience and we’d love to have you join the team.

† SISTERS IN CHRIST  Please join our ladies gathering on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.  This is a time for sharing, caring, studying and praying – together, with each other and GodWe want you to be included in this beautiful sisterhood.

† R.O.C.K. –  ROLLING OUT CHRIST’S KINGDOM will start meeting again this Wednesday, August 13.  Come and join the fun!

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be singing in the service on Sunday, August 24.

† SCHOOL SUPPLY DONATION  For the next few Sundays, Good Shepherd will be collecting school supplies for Immanuel Lutheran School in Lockwood to support them as the school year begins.  There is a list of items that would be most  helpful on the round table in the narthex.  Thanks for your help!

† THE EVANGELISM COMMITTEE is needing a wooden bookcase to organize first aid supplies in the Nurse’s office.  If anyone has one they would like to donate, please let Rhonda Nicholas or Diane Endicott know.

† THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! From the donated items and financial support to all those  who volunteered so much of their time, this congregation continues to be amazing!  This week at VBS God blessed us with a great opportunity to share His abundant and overflowing grace with a wonderful group of kids.  Your generous giving made it all possible, and we are so grateful.

† TREASURER NOTE  For the seven months ended this July, our paid expenses totaled $143,574 while our income totaled $132,600, leaving us with a deficit of $10,974.  Our budget (both expenses and income) at the end of July was $142,183.
