† IN OUR PRAYERS  Leah, the C.’s granddaughter, dealing with Thyroid Cancer; Micki B., recovering from a stroke; Mark K., Megan Mehl’s dad, undergoing rehab; Cindy E., recovering from surgery at home; Jim B., undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† LENTEN SERVICES  This Wednesday, April 9, at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm, we will have our last Wednesday Service. The following Sunday, Palm Sunday, will be the beginning of Holy Week.

† HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE 

April 17: Maundy Thursday Communion Service – 11:00 am, 7:00 pm

April 18: Good Friday Worship Service – 11:00 am, 7:00 pm

April 20: Easter Sunrise Service with Communion- 7:00 am

Easter Breakfast – 7:30 am

Easter Egg Hunt – 8:30 am

Easter Worship Service with Communion – 9:00 am

† EASTER BREAKFAST  The LWML will be helping with the Easter breakfast again this year.  There is a sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex if you’d like to help with items needed for the breakfast.

† EASTER LILIES  If you would like to purchase one or more Easter Lilies to help beautify the sanctuary on  Easter, use the sign up sheet in the narthex.  They will be $10.00 each.  Please make checks to Diana Endicott.

† EASTER EGGS   Christian  Education is asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes,  or bags of  individually wrapped candy to fill the eggs.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project.

† LENTEN SERVICES  For the weeks leading up to Easter, Good Shepherd will hold two services, one at 11:00 am and one at 7:00 pm each Wednesday.  Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

† MEALS ON WHEELS  Thanks to everyone who helped with delivering meals this past Wednesday.  What a great way to serve our community.

† LET’S SHINE! MISSOURI DISTRICT!  The Missouri District of the LCMS is again sponsoring a special time for all congregations and members to Shine as we serve our neighbors and witness for Jesus Christ.  Events will be happening all over our district April 4 – 13.  Our Good Shepherd LWML will be participating in the event.  This Saturday, April 5, they will be gathering to cook meals and then deliver the meals in joy to shine His light in service to others.
