HAYRIDES-HOBO SUPPER-HARVEST PARTY We thank everyone who helped make last Sunday’s festivities a big success. We had more than 100 folks taking part in all the fun and eating the always good hobo stew. The desserts were really scrumptious, too!

LWML FUNDRAISER-DOLLARS FOR MISSIONS The drawing for the quilt the LWML has had to raise money for missions will be Tuesday evening at the monthly LWML meeting. You can still get tickets if you are interested. Check with any LWML member.

LWML MEETING The monthly meetings for the LWML have been changed to the first Tuesday of each month. We will meet in the fellowship hall at 6:30 pm. this Tuesday. All ladies of the congregation are invited to join us.

WEDNESDAY CLASSES There will be classes this Wednesday.

TRUSTEE MEETING There will be a Trustee Meeting this Wednesday at 7:30 pm. All trustees are asked to attend.

OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS meet this Thursday evening at 6:00 for fun, food, and fellowship. Bring a snack and your game face and join in the fun!

THE SHEPHERD’S OWN has been asked to sing at the opening of the holiday festivities at Precious Moments Chapel, Carthage. It begins at 7:00 pm on Saturday, Nov. 10. We are proud to have them represent us in the community with their talents and witnessing through music. Thank you, Shepherd’s Own!

A CALL TO WORSHIP If you are interested in enhancing our worship with spiritual music, please attend a meeting at noon, next Sunday, Nov. 11. All musicians, technicians, schedulers, vocalists, enthusiasts, and instrumentalists are encouraged to attend. Please contact Earl K, with any questions.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS/THRIVENT Election ballots are on the table in the narthex. All Thrivent members are eligible to vote. Please place your ballot in the basket provided.

ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY Don’t take your freedom for granted. Be sure to exercise your right and vote on Tuesday.

MISSOURI VOTING INFORMATION There are fliers in the narthex for information to read through before you head to the polls to vote on Tuesday.

VOTERS’ MEETING The Voters’ Meeting will be next Sunday evening at 7:00.

CD’S AND TAPES OF THE SERVICE Audio tapes and CD’s of the service are available after the service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the narthex after the service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.

PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.
