† JR CONFIRMATION  Next Sunday, May 25, three of our young people, Max B., Kellen M., and Zoe W., will publicly confess their faith during the service.

† SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL  We had so much fun last summer, and look forward to continuing Summer Sunday School this year.  We will wrap up our Sunday School year today with a wet end of year celebration.  The children will sing during the service.  Sunday, May 25, we will not have Sunday School or Adult Bible Class but we will start back for a summer of fun on Sunday, June 1.

† RUMMAGE SALE  The Fellowship Committee will be having a rummage sale at the church on June 13 & 14.  All proceeds will go toward Fellowship activities and decorations.  They are asking the congregation for any items they would like to donate to the sale.  Items can be brought to the church.  Contact Donya Moll, (417)793-3601, if you have any questions.

† MISSOURI DISTRICT NEWS  More than 40 years ago, the Missouri District established an endowment to provide scholarships for university and seminary students from our state who were preparing for professional church work    vocations.  This school year, that same fund provided aid to 62 students.  Praise God!  As we prepare for our upcoming convention, congregations will be praying for the proceedings and taking a special offering on June 1 to help strengthen the Missouri District’s scholarship endowment.  Our convention theme—”Bold Hope in Christ”—is a fitting reminder of how we can confidently work together in His kingdom for His glory.  Thank you for your support!
