REMEMBER IN PRAYER: Thelma M., at Freeman Hospital; Mark H., recovering from injuries suffed in a trucking accident; Ann L., Ann N. and Chuck P., undergoing treatment.

LABORERS FOR CHRIST Gary and Pat F., Paul & Rhoda R., Bob & Lawanda K., and Gary & Violet L. will be commissioned during our worship today, to service our congregation in the building process as members of the Laborers for Christ. We welcome them and are very thankful for their dedication, not only to our building project, but to the building of God’s kingdom through their work as Laborers.

A GIANT THANK YOU to all who helped make VBS such as big success. Attendance for the week was over 50 childern and 25 adults and youth each evening. We thank the coordinators, teachers, cooks, helpers, parents, students, and congregation who so generously gave time, money and food donations. It was a rockin’ time!

PASTOR’S CLASS If you are interested in joining the church, learning more about Lutheran doctrine, or would like a review, Pastor will be having an information class this afternoon beginning at 1:00 pm. Let Pastor know if you would like to attend.

 THE CHURCH COUNCIL will meet this evening at 7:00 pm.

THE OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS will meet this Thursday evening at 6:00 pm.

MEMBERS IN ACTION Volunteers will be needed to work with the Laborers. Let Mike Q. know if you can work anytime from Tuesday through Saturday.

SATURDAY LUNCHES In the narthex is a sign up sheet for folks to help in the expansion process by furnishing a light lunch at noon on Saturdays for the Laborers and member volunteers. We’ve made it so, if you choose, up to three families can share in this responsibility per date. Just pick a Saturday and sign your name. Your willingness is greatly appreciated.

BAKE SALE The LWML will hold a bake sale after both services next Sunday. Proceeds will go towards purchasing much needed additional tables and chairs for the fellowship hall.

PORTALS OF PRAYER The July-September Portals of Prayer are available at the information center in the narthex.

LWML QUARTERLY The Quarterly is available at the information center in the narthex.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR Sunday, July 26th, the Fellowship Committee is having an Ice Cream Social at 5:30 pm. Bring a pie or cake to share; the ice cream will be furnished. It will proceed the Voters’ Meeting, which will begin at 7:00 pm.

TAPES OF THE SERVICE Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex. Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.

BLOOD PRESSURE After each service, at the table in the narthex, you have the opportunity to have your blood pressure taken. You will be given a card to carry with you to record your readings.
