† WANNA TACO ‘BOUT JESUS? LETTUCE PRAY! – SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY Sunday School classes will resume next Sunday, September 10, with Rally Day activities during the Sunday School hour. This will be followed by a Taco Bar sponsored by Christian Education and a Pie Auction sponsored by LWML.
† TREASURER’S NOTE For the eight months ending with August, our expenses totaled $146,901 and our income totaled $137,575 leaving us with a deficit of $9,326.
† MEALS ON WHEELS Good Shepherd’s turn to deliver meals will be on Wednesday, September 13. If you would like to help with this or have questions please contact Sandy D.
† HELPING WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES Good Shepherd is collecting Lysol spray, disinfectant wipes, and tissues for Martin Luther School in Joplin to help with offsetting the cost of school supplies. There is a collection box in the narthex.
† JR CONFIRMATION Jr. Confirmation class will begin this week. It will start with a parent meeting on September 6, at 6:30 pm downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
