† VBS WORK DAY If you would like to help out with getting things ready for VBS please join us for the VBS Work Day scheduled for Saturday, July 15, beginning at 9:00 am. There will be tasks ranging from organizational and clerical to artistic and creative, so there is something for everyone!!
† GOD’S LIVING WATER VBS is scheduled for Sunday, July 23 – Thursday, July 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Student registration pages are available in the Christian Education area outside the sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form. Or you may also register at: vbsmate.com/gslcarthage. If you would like to receive this year’s VBS T-shirt please make sure to register by July 5. It’s also not too late to volunteer! † TREASURER’S UPDATE For the six months ending June 30, our income totaled $104,828 and our expenses totaled $105,663 leaving us with a deficit of $835.
† POSITION OPEN Little Lambs Christian Childcare, a Ministry of Faith Lutheran Church, has an opening for the Director position for their expanding Childcare Facility. Current enrollment is up to 30 children, ages 6 weeks through 5 y/o. The ideal candidate will see their position not just as a job, but a calling to serve Christ and His people, as well as an opportunity to expand His Kingdom in addition to providing love and quality care to children.
