† LWML SUNDAY  Our Good Shepherd LWML will celebrate 80 years next Sunday, October 2, on LWML Sunday.  If you haven’t had a chance to participate in the envelope fundraiser, there are still a some envelopes that could be filled.

† TIME & TALENT SURVEY  There are Time & Talent surveys available on the round table in the narthex to be filled out when you have the time.  There is a black tray there also to collect the survey’s when completed.  We will make them available until we stop collecting them October 16.

† FLU SHOT  Lacy Epperson will be providing flu shots after the church service on Sunday, October 9, 2022.  There is a sign up sheet in the narthex so she can get a fairly accurate number of how many shots to bring.

† CROSSLINES OF CARTHAGE  For September and October Good Shepherd will   be collecting again for Crosslines of Carthage.  There will be a container in the narthex available for you to place non-perishable food items.  They would also accept monetary donations if you would prefer to donate that way.  Monetary donations can be placed in the offering plate in an envelope marked Crosslines or they can be given to the church office.

† I AM A CHURCH MEMBER  The Board of Elders recently finished working through the book, “I Am A Church Member”.  We found it to be a helpful resource for one who wants to grow and mature in their view of themselves    as a church member.  We did not make use of the “pledge” at the end of each chapter.  Use your own discretion there.  We are making the book available to whoever wants to read it.  The stack is on the table outside the nursery.
