VOTERS’ ASSEMBLY At the voters’ meeting last Sunday evening it was approved to go to one worship service for the summer. Beginning on May 27, there will be one service at 9:30 am and Sunday School at 10:45 am. Holy Communion will be celebrated each Sunday.

LWML SPRING RALLY The Southwest Zone Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Spring Rally is this afternoon at 3:00, at the Gene Taylor Community Building in Sarcoxie. Hosted by the Ladies’ Aid at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sarcoxie. The guest speaker for the rally is Rosie Speck, who will talk about “Living as a Christian in a Muslim World”. Ms. Speck taught in Tehran and will come dressed in common Muslim attire. Contact Mary P., if you would like to attend and need a ride.

SOFTBALL Let’s play ball!! The co-ed team will play Monday evening at 6:30 and the men’s team will play Thursday evening at 8:30.

THE OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS will meet this Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. Bring some food to share and join the fun!

THE COMMUNITY BLOOD CENTER BLOODMOBILE will be on the parking lot here Sunday, May 20, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Be sure you have photo identification with you. Give…because every drop tells a story.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the narthex after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.

PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.

CD’S AND TAPES OF THE SERVICE Audio tapes and CD’s of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
