† LWML FALL BAKE SALE A huge THANK YOU to everyone who brought bake sale items and who generously donated last Sunday. LWML received $538.00 in donations which is Fantastic!
† ANGEL TREE There are a few tags left on the tree set up in the Narthex. The tags list suggested items for kids in need in our area. If you would like to participate, please take a tag from the tree, replace it with an angel ornament from under the tree, purchase one or more of the items, and then place the unwrapped items back under the tree with the ornament attached by next Sunday, December 8. This project is being coordinated by our Sunday School in cooperation with the local Salvation Army. Please consider taking an ornament tag to help meet the needs of others in our community. Thanks for your support of this project.
† MIDWEEK ADVENT SERVICES As in recent years, Good Shepherd will provide midweek worship services at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm each Wednesday during Advent. The first Advent service will be this Wednesday, December 4. Please join us!
† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is scheduled for Sunday, December 15, at 7:00 pm. Today and next Sunday, December 8, we will have longer rehearsals following the service and end with lunch. Dec. 15 we will have a dress rehearsal during the Sunday School hour. We would really appreciate it if we could have as many students here at rehearsals as much as possible because it will make things run smoother. Please encourage your children to get excited about this special opportunity to tell the story of Jesus’ birth to our church family!
† CONSTITUTION CHANGES There will be a very brief Voters’ Meeting held right after the service on Sunday, December 8, to get approval on some changes that need to be made to the GSLC Constitution. Copies of the Constitution with the proposed changes are available on the round table in the narthex. If you have any questions about the changes, please see someone on Church Council.
† SUNDAY SCHOOL COMMUNITY SUPPORT Thanks you to everyone who donated cans of ravioli and soup in November! It is wonderful to see GSLC help out our local community!
† POINSETTIAS If you would like to purchase a poinsettia(s) to help adorn the sanctuary at Christmas, please use the sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex and prepay Diana Endicott. The cost is $8.00 each. Please, see Diana with any questions.
† NURSERY/CRY ROOM Should your child become distressed or distract others during the service, a furnished nursery/cry room is located in the narthex for your use. Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions.
