† THE LWML FALL BAKE SALE is this morning. Check out all the tasty goodies available in the narthex and support our LWML.
† ANGEL TREE There is a tree set up in the Narthex full of ornament tags. The tags list suggested items for kids in need in our area. If you would like to participate, please take a tag from the tree, replace it with an angel ornament from under the tree, purchase one or more of the items, and then place the unwrapped items back under the tree with the ornament attached by Sunday, December 8. This project is being coordinated by our Sunday School in cooperation with the local Salvation Army. Please consider taking an ornament tag to help meet the needs of others in our community. Thanks for your support of this project.
† CONSTITUTION CHANGES There will be a very brief Voters’ Meeting held right after the service on Sunday, December 8, to get approval on some changes that need to be made to the GSLC Constitution. Copies of the Constitution with the proposed changes are available on the round table in the narthex. If you have any questions about the changes, please see someone on Church Council.
† THANKSGIVING EVE WORSHIP Join us this Wednesday, November 27, at 7:00 pm, for a special Thanksgiving Eve Service with Holy Communion.
† SUNDAY SCHOOL COMMUNITY SUPPORT For the month of November GSLC is collecting ravioli and chicken noodle soup for Carthage Bright Futures. Please make sure the cans are easy open with the tabs. We prefer these small containers of ravioli, but will also take the bigger cans as long as they are the easy open. Please contact Nicole B., if you have any questions.
† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is scheduled for Sunday, December 15, at 7:00 pm. We will be working on the songs and speaking lines in the Sunday School opening during November. December 1 and 8 we will have longer rehearsals following the service and end with lunch. December 15 we will have a dress rehearsal during the Sunday School hour. We would really appreciate it if we could have as many students here at rehearsals as much as possible because it will make things run smoother. Please encourage your children to get excited about this special opportunity to tell the story of Jesus’ birth to our church family!
POINSETTIAS If you would like to purchase a poinsettia(s) to help adorn the sanctuary at Christmas, please use the sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex and prepay Diana Endicott. The cost is $8.00 each. Please, see Diana with any questions.
