† FELLOWSHIP HALL FLOORS Right after Bible class today the Fellowship Hall will be prepared to have the floors stripped and waxed. The Trustees ask that no one enter the downstairs this week so that the floors can dry properly.
† THE WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP GROUP will meet this Saturday, June 15, at Mother Road Coffee from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.
† VBS DONATIONS There is a poster board in the narthex with supplies needed for this year’s VBS. Please stop to check it out and see if there are items you would be willing to donate. Take a post-it note or several and return the item/items with the note attached to the church by Sunday, July 14, unless it is fresh fruit. Fresh fruit can be returned on July 21. Thanks for your help!
† VBS REGISTRATION This year’s VBS, “Miraculous Mission”, will be held July 21 – 25. There are registration forms on the round table in the narthex. If you would like to register for Vacation Bible School online, you can do that at: http://vbsmate.com/events/gslccarthage/17744. If you would like this year’s VBS t-shirt you will need to register by July 1.
† MEAL DELIVERY Good Shepherd’s week to deliver meals for the Over-60 Center is this week, June 10 – 14. If you can help with this worthwhile project, please contact Betty E.
† SUNDAY SCHOOL NURSERY The Christian Education Committee would like to try to offer a nursery option for parents wanting to attend Bible Class starting in June. Regular Sunday School classes begin at age 3 and there are teachers for those classes. For children under 3 years old we would like to offer a place for supervised play, snack, and a very short simple age appropriate Jesus message. All materials and snacks will be provided in the nursery classroom. There is a sign up sheet located by the door of the nursery room for people wanting to help out in this classroom. You can also call the church office, 358-1325, if you are willing to sign up.
† NURSERY/CRY ROOM Should your child become distressed or distract others during the service, a furnished nursery/cry room is located in the narthex for your use. Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions.
† PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.
† BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after the service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.
