† THE QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING is scheduled for tonight at 7:00 pm.

† VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL  Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s VBS possible!  It takes a lot of help to put such a special event together and we really appreciate all the hard work.  A big thank you to Nicole B. and Diana B. for all the time put in organizing, decorating, and much more!  Also, a special thanks to Doug S. who got soaked with water balloons each night to help encourage our offering.  This year’s VBS offering was $387.00 which will be going to Watered Gardens, that’s a lot of beds!  What a wonderful and enjoyable week it was learning that GOD IS WITH US through life’s wild ride!

† TIM & HOPE MEHL  If you missed their presentation or are looking for information about Tim and Hope Mehl, who spoke about being missionaries/teachers in Taiwan, it is available on the round table in the narthex.

† VBS DONATIONS  Thanks to all those who took post-it notes of items needed for VBS, it is greatly appreciated!  Every note placed on the board was taken, how awesome.  It really helped keep costs down!

† REQUEST TO RECYCLE  When purchasing flowers for the altar it would be greatly appreciated if you would return your pots (even the plastic ones) to Diana E., or place them in the church office, so she can use them again.  Thanks for your help!

† SUMMER QUARTER OFFERINGS  The offerings from Adult Bible class/Sunday School and VBS for the summer quarter will be going to Watered Gardens Gospel Rescue Missions in Joplin.  A donation of $15.00 provides one bed for one night.  For that amount, a shower, hygiene items, a set of clothing/shoes, a bed and laundry facilities are provided.  Let’s see how many nights GSLC can provide with our summer offerings.

† BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after the   service.  You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.

† PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.

† ASSISTIVE LISTENING  If you are having difficulty hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.  They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
