† VBS DONATIONS There is a poster board in the narthex with supplies needed for this year’s VBS. Please stop to check it out and see if there are items you would be willing to donate. Take a post-it note or several and return the item/items with the note attached to the church by Sunday, July 15, unless it is fresh fruit. Fresh fruit can be returned on July 22. † LYF FIREWORKS STAND Thank you to those who stopped to visit us at the fireworks stand. It was a hot, but successful year!
† VBS HELP NEEDED Work days have been scheduled to help make and set up decorations for VBS. The dates are Saturday, July 14 & 21 at 9:00 am. Any and all help would be appreciated, more hands make fun and faster work. If you have questions, please contact Nichole B.
† VBS REGISTRATION If you haven’t already registered for VBS please take the time to do so. There is a table set up in the narthex under the education bulletin board with registration forms. † NEW THIS YEAR The VBS Kick-off party will be a little different this year. We want everyone to come and join us for a potluck water fun party here at Good Shepherd on Saturday, July 21, at 4:00 pm! The meat will be provided and everyone is asked to bring a dish to share. There will be several fun/wet water activities for the kids and the young at heart to participate in, so come prepared to get wet if you want or just enjoy watching the kids have fun! We hope to have everyone come out to enjoy this fun fellowship event to start out a great week of learning and activities for our children!
† WATERING AT THE CHURCH GSLC is looking for youth and adults who would be willing to help with watering around the church grounds this summer. If you would be able to help with this, please contact Doug S. It would be great to have a lot of people willing to help out so it isn’t so much work for any one person!
† SUMMER QUARTER OFFERINGS The offerings from Adult Bible class/Sunday School and VBS for the summer quarter will be going to Watered Gardens Gospel Rescue Missions in Joplin. A donation of $15.00 provides one bed for one night. For that amount, a shower, hygiene items, a set of clothing/shoes, a bed and laundry facilities are provided. Let’s see how many nights GSLC can provide with our summer offerings.
† PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.
