† OVER-70 DINNER The youth group is hosting our annual Over-70 inner on Sunday, June 3, beginning at 5:30 pm. The evening will include dinner, dessert and entertainment provided by the youth. † ANNUAL FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY CAMPOUT The annual Friday Night Family Campout has been scheduled for June 8 – 9. This event will be held at the “The Fishing Hole” (Dale & Lee Ann B.’ property south of Lockwood). Please contact Dale, with any questions. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex.
† SUMMER WORSHIP Starting next Sunday, June 3, for the summer months, we will have one worship service on Sunday and it will begin at 9:00 am. Sunday School and Bible class will be at 10:30 am.
† VBS REGISTRATION If you’d like to register for Vacation Bible School now, you can online at: http://vbsmate.com/events/gslccarthage/16342. Next week there will be a registration table set up in the narthex. If you would like a VBS t-shirt this year you will need to register by July 1.
† VBS HELPERS Are you interested in helping with this year’s vacation bible school? The theme this year is “Splash Canyon – God’s Promise on Life’s Wild Ride.” The dates will be July 22 – July 26. We are in need of group leaders, group helpers, station assistants, etc. In addition we will be needing some help with our kick-off potluck and water games day which will be held at the church on Saturday, July 21. † FOOD DRIVE The Christian Education Committee would like for GSLC to help with the spring food drive at Bright Futures. We have chosen the month of May.
