† SINGING SAINTS  GSLC will be hosting the Singing Saints from Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, Missouri, on Palm Sunday, March 25.  The choir of about 50 students will perform at 7:00 pm that evening.  As the host church, we will need to provide housing for the students and chaperones for that night. We are still in need of a couple more volunteers to host students.  If you would be able to provide a place for two or more of the members of the choir, please contact the church office, 358-1325.

† SINGING SAINTS DINNER  GSLC Fellowship Committee will be providing a dinner for the Singing Saints and our congregation next Sunday at 5:00 pm.  If you will be attending the dinner, please use the sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex so that the Fellowship Committee will know how much food to provide.    Also, we ask those joining us to bring a dessert to share for our famous dessert bar.  Please, join us for dinner, fellowship and a wonderful performance.

† EASTER EGG HUNT  The LYF will be filling the plastic eggs for the annual Sunday School Easter Egg hunt.  They are asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the narthex or they can be dropped off in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

† MEALS FOR NEW PARENTS  GSLC would like to start providing meals for families when they come home from the hospital with a new baby.  This project will be organized by Megan Mehl.  If you would be willing to help with this project, please use the sign up sheet hanging in the narthex on the bulletin board          designated Christian Education.  This will provide Megan with a list of people she can call on when members are blessed with a new baby!

† EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP  The Easter breakfast sign-up sheet is in the narthex on the round table.  Please take a moment to check it over and then put your name by what you are willing to bring.

† HOLY SATURDAY PRAYER VIGIL  There is a sign up sheet for our Saturday, March 31, Prayer Vigil on the narthex round table.  Please consider signing up for a 15 minute slot.  Certainly you are welcome to come in for prayer at anytime and you can stay as long as you want, but we would like to have someone here in prayer through the entire 6 hour time period.

† INVITATION MARCH 19  The ministry group Jews For Jesus, which seeks to share its belief that Jesus is the promised Messiah of the Jewish people, will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church for their presentation “Christ In The Passover” on Monday, March 19.  Everyone is welcome to attend – the presentation begins at 6:30 pm in the church.  Jews for Jesus has presented “Christ in the Passover” at over 38,000 churches.  It has been enthusiastically received by Christians who   appreciate learning more about the Jewish backgrounds of their faith.
