† SINGING SAINTS  GSLC will be hosting the Singing Saints from Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, Missouri, on Palm Sunday, March 25.  The choir of about 50 students will perform at 7:00 pm that evening.  As the host church, we will need to provide housing for the students and chaperones for that night.  We are still in need of a few more volunteers to host students.  If you would be able to provide a place for two or more of the members of the choir, please contact the church office, 358-1325.

† SINGING SAINTS DINNER  GSLC Fellowship Committee will be providing a dinner for the Singing Saints and our congregation on March 25 at 5:00 pm.  If you will   be attending the dinner, please use the sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex so that the Fellowship Committee will know how much food to provide.    Also, we ask those joining us to bring a dessert to share for our famous dessert bar.  Please, come and join us for dinner, fellowship and a wonderful performance by the choir.

† MEAL DELIVERY  Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.  What a great way to help support our local        community!

† EASTER EGG HUNT  The LYF will be filling the plastic eggs for the annual Sunday School Easter Egg hunt.  They are asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the youth room or they can be dropped off in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

† MEALS FOR NEW PARENTS  GSLC would like to start providing meals for families when they come home from the hospital with a new baby.  This project will be organized by Megan Mehl.  If you would be willing to help with this project, please use the sign up sheet hanging in the narthex on the bulletin board          designated Christian Education.  This will provide Megan with a list of people she can call on when members are blessed with a new baby!

† EASTER LILIES  If you would like to purchase one or more lilies to help adorn our sanctuary on Easter, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.  The cost is $8.00 each.  Please pay Diana Endicott.

† LENT began February 14, with our Ash Wednesday services.  We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent.  Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

† SHOE COLLECTION  Donya Moll has asked for help with a community project.  She is collecting shoes, any size or style, that have some life left.  There is a container in the narthex for the shoes to be collected.  Thanks for your help.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERING  The offering from both Adult Bible Class and Sunday School for the months of January and February, which totaled just over $300.00, is going to LCMS World Relief to help those affected by the Hurricane in Houston.  The offerings for the spring quarter will be going to Ronald McDonald House.  We are hoping to get enough money to purchase a couple of their “Dream BIG items”.  This could include two high chairs and a hedge trimmer.  It would take around $300 to purchase these items.  That seems like a reasonable goal for the quarter and what a great way to help out this great organization.

† NURSERY/CRY ROOM  Should your child become distressed or distract others during the service, a furnished nursery/cry room is located in the narthex for your use.  Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions.
