† SINGING SAINTS  GSLC will be hosting the Singing Saints from Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, Missouri, on Palm Sunday, March 25.  The choir of about 50 students will perform at 7:00 pm that evening.  As the host church, we will need to provide housing for the students and chaperones for that night.  If you would be able to provide a place for two or more of the members of the choir please contact the church office, 358-1325, so we can start a housing list.

† MOMS GROUP PLANNING GET-TOGETHER  Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Christian Education Committee has heard some interest in some type of Mom’s Mentoring Group being formed at our church.  In an effort to figure out what kind of group would be of interest and what would work best for everyone as far as timing, the Christian Education Committee will be hosting an evening for Moms!  This get-together has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, in the GSLC Fellowship Hall, at 6:00 pm.  Dinner and dessert will be provided and childcare will be available if you need it.  We hope by bringing everyone together a decision can be made on when, where, and what kind of group would be of interest to the moms in our congregation.

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be sharing songs of Jesus’ love that they have been working on during opening at Sunday School next Sunday at the beginning of the 10:45 am service.

† MEAL DELIVERY  Good Shepherd’s week to deliver meals for the Over-60 Center is March 5-9.  If you can help with this worthwhile project, please contact Betty Ellefsen, 358-6418.

† BAKE SALE  Thanks to everyone who supported the bake sale last Sunday, either by making goodies, buying goodies, or both!  It was a big success, bringing in a total of $547.00.  How wonderful!

† LENT began February 14, with our Ash Wednesday services.  We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent.  Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.
