† THANK YOU FROM THE LYF  We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who attended the Game Gathering last Sunday!  The turn out was fantastic and we really appreciate the support and your generosity!  We really enjoyed hosting the event and we hope you had a fun time, too.

† TRANSITION TEAM  At the last Voters’ Meeting a Transition Team was approved to plan events for Good Shepherd to intentionally face this interim.  This Transition team includes Jim B., Ed E., Judy G., Christy M., Justin M., Rhonda N., and Molly S.  They will have their second meeting today at 5:00 pm.

† MSSU CHAMBER SINGERS  The Carthage Musical Devotees will be hosting the MSSU Chamber Singers next Sunday, November 22, at 3:00 pm here at Good Shepherd.  The group will present a glorious program celebrating the Holiday season.  Admission is free and there will be refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards.

† THANKSGIVING EVE WORSHIP  Join us on Wednesday, November 25, at 7:00 pm, for a special Thanksgiving Eve Service with Holy Communion.

† SPECIAL HOLIDAY MUSIC  Pastor Mackie has no records of persons or groups who customarily offer special music for the holidays.  Please contact Linda D. or Pastor Mackie at the church office as soon as possible if you expect to provide special music during worship services in November/December.

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is scheduled for Sunday,  December 20, at 7:00 pm.  We will be working on the songs and speaking lines in the Sunday School opening during November.  We would really appreciate it if we could have as many students here at Sunday School as much as possible because it will make things run smoother in December for rehearsals.  Please encourage your children to get excited about this special opportunity to tell the story of Jesus’ birth to our church family!

† HELP NEEDED AT CROSSLINES  Good Shepherd has a group of people who volunteer their time at Crosslines the third Friday of every month.  They are in need of at least one more person to help them during this time.  If you would be interested in helping, please contact Nan B. or Janet C.

† PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.

† BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after the  service.  You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.

NURSERY/CRY ROOM  Should your child become distressed or distract others during the service, a furnished nursery/cry room is located in the narthex for your use.  Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions
