Come join us in celebrating the fall at our annual Hobo Dinner on Sunday, November 1. Yep, it’s that time a’ year agin fer ever’one to put on yer Sunday worst, ferget to shave n’ comb out yer hair, and come to church to chow down on some a’ the best vittles (that’s hobo talk for good food) ya ever did taste! Stew that’s better’n Ma used to make! The fun begins at 5:30 pm. Just bring some a’ yer own precooked stew (canned is okay; yer fav’rit homemade recipe is better), or you can bring some cooked vegetables or meat to toss in. We’ll throw it all in the big pot that’s sitting on an open fire and get it good and hot. There will be carnival games and treats for the kids and a hay ride. Come dressed in hobo attire, or just come dressed casual, but whatever you do, make sure you join us for this fun evening. Y’all come now, ya hear? **Watch for a sign-up sheet in the narthex. We will be asking for people to help by bringing desserts, chips, crackers, or dips. Thanks for your help!
