† IN OUR PRAYERS Ruth H., undergoing rehab at Mt. Vernon Care Place after surgery; Karen L. and Sandy O., recovering from surgery; Royce A. (Wynette Q.’s father), receiving Hospice care; Paula B.,undergoing treatment for cancer.

† CHRISTMAS CHOIR!  Help us make a joyful noise in honor of our Lord’s birth.  Rehearsals will directly follow the late service.  No need to be a soloist, join others and have fun.  Rehearsals begin today following the late service.

† BRASS ENSEMBLE  Attention all brass instrumentalists:  Please let John Nicholas or Linda Danner know if you are interested and available to play in a brass ensemble for the upcoming Advent and Christmas season services.  We are especially in need of low brass instruments.

† LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP will meet at the church this evening at 5:00 pm to head out for a bonfire at Pastor’s house and trip to the spook light.

† MARIE HERZOG  There will be a graveside service for Marie Herzog at Oak Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am on Friday, November 28.

† GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP  Several people have approached both Pastor and Earl with the care in their hearts for those who have recently experienced the loss of a deeply loved family member.  We have been   discussing the possibility of forming a group for individuals who could benefit from such a tool in their coping with grief.  Let Earl Kirn know if you are interested in such a group and of any thoughts that you have about this idea.

† CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MEETING  Sunday, November 23,      following late service, there will be a meeting of Sunday School teachers, the Christian Education Board, and all persons interested in Christian    Education.  A light lunch will be provided.

† WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS DINNER  All Good Shepherd women are invited to a Christmas party on Sunday, December 14, at 5 pm, at Rollins Creek Clubhouse (east end of Fairview).  Dinner will be served and entertainment provided by the CHS show choir!  We will reveal our Secret Sisters with a gift and anyone can play the ornament exchange game if you bring a wrapped ornament!  Please RSVP on the narthex table so we can plan seating and food.  Questions: Call Jennifer Shannon 793-1880.

† SECRET SISTERS  If you would like to participate in the Secret Sister     program for 2015, please take a form from the table in the narthex, fill it out, and return it to Jennifer Shannon, Brenda Kirn, or Judy Golden by  December 14.  You do not have to be a member of LWML to participate, all women are welcome.

† THE FUMBLY, BUMBLY ANGELS  The Sunday School Christmas Program will be held on Sunday, December 21, at 7:00 pm.  Rehearsals will begin during the Sunday School hour on November 30.  Along with Sunday School time, there will be rehearsals after the late service on both December 14 & 21.  Help your children get excited about being involved, it is a wonderful and fun way for them to learn about and spread the news of Jesus’ birth!
