† HOBO DINNER  Come join us in celebrating the fall at the annual Hobo    Dinner next Sunday, October 19.  The fun begins at 5:30 pm.  Just bring some a’ yer own pre-cooked stew (canned is okay; yer fav’rit homemade recipe is better),  or you can bring some cooked vegetables or meat to toss in.  There will be a hayride on the church grounds and a jack-o-lantern carving contest, so bring along an uncarved pumpkin.  There will also be carnival games and treats for the kids  and a prize for the best dressed hobo.  We would like people to help by bringing crackers or dips and we could use some help with set-up.  There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex on the round table.  Y’all come now, ya hear?!

† LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP will meet at the church next Sunday, October 19, at 5:30 pm to help with the games at the Hobo Dinner.  Each youth member needs to bring a box of snack cakes and a bag of candy as a donation for prizes for the games.
