† LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (LYF) will meet next Sunday here at the church at 6:00 pm.  Much is on the agenda so please plan on being here.

† 70 AND OVER DINNER  The youth group will be serving a four course meal to those in our congregation who are 70 years of age (four score and ten) and older Sunday evening, March 9, at 5:00.  It is one way our youth wish to show their appreciation for these seasoned congregational members.  More details later, but mark your calendars now for this wonderful evening.

† THANK YOU, THANK YOU!  Nan B. would like to say a special thank you to everyone who participated in the “Souper” Bowl can drive for Crosslines of Carthage.  After all the donations were tallied, Good Shepherd ended up donating a total of 626 items!  Wow, what a SUPER success it was!

† SUNDAY SCHOOL  Are you interested in teaching a Sunday School class?  Do you want to be a substitute Sunday School teacher?  The Christian Education Committee is always looking for more help.  If you are interested, there is a sign up sheet posted on the Christian Education bulletin board in the narthex to the left of the elevator.

† FLOWER CHART  If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway.  Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.

† PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.

† BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after each service.  You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.

† ASSISTIVE LISTENING  If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.  They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
