CAN YOU HELP? Help is needed to set up, man the games, and serve food next Sunday for Rally Day. We will meet on Sat., Sept. 8, at 1:00 p.m. to get ready. If you can help either Sat. or Sun., please contact Karen Perkins, Diana Baysinger, Shelley Wilson or Mary Schwab.
THRIVENT WORKSHOP Heart-to-Heart: As Your Parents Age Attend this free workshop offered by Financial Associate Austin Rice on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Pick up a flyer in the narthex for more information, and to see how to register. Please note: Dinner will be served at 6:30 instead of light refreshments, but we do need a RSVP. This program will not only help you with your parents, but will help each of us when our time comes for our families to make these decisions. You do not have to be a Thrivent member to attend.
MONDAY EVENING WORSHIP If you are unable to attend church on Sunday morning, there is another worship opportunity at 6:30 pm on Monday evenings. This is also a service with Holy Communion.
BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.
PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
FLOWER CHART If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway. Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided
