CHOIR, ENCORE PLEASE Today, after the late service, your participation is needed in a one time only choir practice of the song, Soon and Very Soon. It will be sung during both services next Sunday, April 28.
TRUSTEE MEETING The trustees will meet at 7:00 pm on Monday.
VOTERS’ ASSEMBLY Next Sunday at 7:00 pm is the time the Voters’ Assembly will meet. Along with the usual reports items to be discussed and voted on include: going to one worship service this summer and at what time; an added worship service on Monday evening; discussion of what to do with the trailer.
CARTHAGE BRIGHT FUTURES In the coming weeks you will have the opportunity to donate to the Bright Futures backpack program for school age children. A flyer explaining the program and the specific foods needed is available. Any questions, please ask Nicole B.
BOARD OF EDUCATION/VBS MEETING Anyone interested in helping with VBS in July is asked to stay after the late service next Sunday for a planning meeting. Lunch will be served.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.
FLOWER CHART If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway. Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.
PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.
