† LWML BAKE SALE  A big THANK YOU to everyone who generously donated to the LWML Bake Sale last Sunday!

† ANGEL TREE  There is a tree set up in the Narthex full of ornament tags.  The tags list suggested items for kids in need in our area.  If you would like to participate, please take a tag from the tree, replace it with an angel  ornament from under the tree, purchase one or more of the items, and then place the unwrapped items back under the tree with the tag attached by Sunday, December 9.  This project is being coordinated by our Sunday School in cooperation with the local Salvation Army.  Please consider taking an ornament tag to help meet the needs of others in our community.  Thanks for your support of this project.

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is scheduled for Sunday, December 16, at 7:00 pm.  We will be working on the songs and speaking lines in the Sunday School today.  Next Sunday, December 2, we will rehearse during Sunday School and then break for lunch in the fellowship hall.  We will then rehearse again after lunch.  We would really appreciate it if we could have as many students here at Sunday School as much as possible because it will make things run smoother.  Please encourage your children to get excited about this special opportunity to tell the story of Jesus’ birth to our church family!

† CANCER PATIENTS & SURVIVORS GROUP will get together for a light brunch and planning session on December 2, after Sunday school in one of the Sunday school classrooms.

† POINSETTIAS  If you would like to purchase a poinsettia(s) to help adorn the sanctuary at Christmas, please use the sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex and prepay Diana E.  The cost is $8.00 each.  Please, see Diana with any questions.

† MARK YOUR CALENDAR  The LWML is sponsoring a Christmas Holiday centered evening for all the ladies of the congregation on Sunday, December 9, at 5:30 pm, in the Fellowship Hall of the church.  The menu will include a variety of appetizers.  The names for secret sisters will be passed out.  There will also be a Christmas exchange.  For those who would like to participate, bring a wrapped Christmas item, $5.00 or less (it doesn’t have to be an ornament).  Come and join us for an evening of Christmas fun and festivities.

† SECRET SISTER PROGRAM  There has been enough interest expressed in starting up the Secret Sister Program once again.  This program is sponsored by the LWML but all ladies of the congregation are welcome to participate.  The guide lines and secret sister sign-up forms are on the round table in the narthex.  The forms need to be turned in at the LWML Christmas party or before.  If you have any questions you can contact Mary P.
