† LENT  This Wednesday, March 24, will be our last midweek Lenten services before the special services of Holy Week.

† HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE 

April 1: Maundy Thursday Communion Service – 11:00 am, 7:00 pm

April 2: Good Friday Worship Service – 11:00 am, 7:00 pm

April 4: Easter Sunrise Service – 6:45 am

Easter Breakfast – 7:30 am

Easter Egg Hunt – 8:30 am

Easter Worship Service with Communion – 9:00 am

† TINY TOT SUNDAY SCHOOL is being offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the nursery classroom by Doug and Peggy S.  It is a 15 minute class to get the little ones used to coming to Sunday School. 

† EASTER EGGS  We will be filling plastic eggs for the Sunday School Children.  Christian Education is asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy to fill the eggs.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

† EASTER LILIES  If you would like to purchase one or more Easter Lilies to help beautify the sanctuary on Easter, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex. They will be $8.00 each.  Please make checks to Diana Endicott.  Of course, any lilies you purchase are yours to take home after Easter Sunday.

† PORTALS OF PRAYER  The new Portals of Prayer for the spring are on the table by the nursery in the narthex.

† PEW SPACING  We have removed the every-other pew restriction from the pews in the front half of the sanctuary.  When attendance is higher and if spacing is not a priority for you, consider moving to the front to leave more room for others in the back.

† LENT began February 17, with our Ash Wednesday service.  We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

† NEW BANNERS  If you’ve been enjoying the beautiful new banners that have been on the altar the last couple months, say thank you to Karen Moll and  Mary Parks!

† YOUTH GAME NIGHT  Today from 3:00 – 5:00 pm GSLC will be hosting a Youth Game Night.  GSLC Youth (grades 6 – 12) and their guests are invited to join us!! Please RSVP (pmcguirephd@gmail.com) so we know how many to plan for.

† ST PATRICK’S DINNER  This coming Saturday, March 20, the church will be having a St. Patrick’s Dinner at 5:30 pm.  Please sign up on the sheet on the round table in the narthex if you will be attending.

† MEAL DELIVERY  Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.  What a great way to help support our local community!

† THANK YOU  In the passing of my husband, Gary, words cannot express the humble gratitude and appreciation I have for all of you, my church family!  I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you for the generous prayers, cards, calls, wonderful food that was delivered to our house, and the most generous anonymous donations made and given to me and our family during this difficult time.  What blessings!  Gary would have been as deeply touched by so much love and support as I am.  Thank you.                             ~ Jan B. & family

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be singing in the 9:00 am service next Sunday, March 7. They have been working on a couple songs during the Sunday School hour that they would like to share with their congregation.

† MEAL DELIVERY  Good Shepherd’s week to deliver meals for the Over-60 Center is March 1–5.  If you can help with this worthwhile project, please contact Betty E.
