† THANKSGIVING EVE WORSHIP  Join us on Wednesday, November 25, at 7:00 pm, for a special Thanksgiving Eve Service with Holy Communion.

† DRIVE-UP COMMUNION  Our next drive-up Communion will be this        Wednesday, November 11, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.

† NEW SERVICE OPTIONS  We plan to offer a ‘Service of the Word’ on the first and third Sunday’s of the month (beginning Nov. 15) and a ‘Service of the Sacrament’ on the second and fourth Sundays (beginning Nov. 22).  A Service of the Word is essentially a regular Sunday service without communion.  Because these are high precaution services we encourage everyone to wear masks and will have minimal singing as we have done with our current Wednesday      morning services.  A Service of the Sacrament will be a communion service that will be structurally similar to the one used for drive-up communion (confession and absolution, a short reading, a short message, etc.).

† CHRISTMAS PROGRAM  Parts for our program will be assigned soon, so we need to know which children would like to be involved.  If you would like your children to participate, even if you aren’t currently attending Sunday School, please let us know because we would like to include as may kids as we can. Please let your Sunday School teacher know or you can contact the church office by phone at 358-1325 or email at goodshepherd@ecarthage.com. 

POINSETTIAS  If you would like to purchase a poinsettia(s) to help adorn the sanctuary at Christmas, please use the sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex and prepay Diana E.  The cost is $8.00 each.

† CHRISTMAS PROGRAM  The Christian Education Board is considering plans for this year’s winter plans, including the annual Children’s Christmas Program. We would like to hear from families with children about your interest in participating in a program, either in person or by pre-recording a part for the program.  Please contact the church office by email or phone OR let Sunday School teachers know if your child is interested in participating and what your preferences would be regarding their participation.  Thank you!
