LWML PAINTING FUNDRAISER is happening this Thursday, August 19 at 6:30 pm.  All the materials will be furnished for you to create and complete your very own 11×14 work of art.  Total cost is $25.00.  Please use the sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex. (There is a limit of 25 people) 

THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS  This would be a great time to come and join the Thursday Morning Bible Study.  We are beginning to study the book of Romans.   

MEET & GREET  For those who would like to attend, the M. family is having a come and go celebration to meet Gage M., Justin and Lyndsay M.’s baby boy.  It will be held today, August 15, at noon at Cheryl and Chris G.’s home, Carthage.

LWML MEMBERS  Dorcas Ladies Aid of Trinity Lutheran Church, Freistatt is inviting you to attend our meeting on Thursday, September 2, at 1:30 pm at the Ernte Fest Building on the north edge of Freistatt on Highway H.  Michelle Tate will be speaking about the June 2021 LWML Convention.

† VBS  Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s VBS possible!  It takes a lot of help to put such a special event together and we really appreciate all the hard work.  This year’s VBS offering will be going to the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin!   What a wonderful and enjoyable week it was learning about how JESUS DOES THE IMPOSSIBLE!

† VBS  starts today from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  It will run through Thursday, July 29.  Thanks to everyone who donated items for this event and also everyone who helped out with the VBS Work Day!  Children are invited to participate in the worship service held at 9:00 am next Sunday, August 1, when they will share with the congregation some of what they learned during their exciting week. It is going to be a wonderful week of learning and sharing God’s love!
