† IN OUR PRAYERS  Ruth B., recovering at home from surgery to remove a tumor on her voice box; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† LENT began February 17, with our Ash Wednesday service.  We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

† MEAL DELIVERY  Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.  What a great way to help support our local community!

† NEW BANNERS  If you’ve been enjoying the beautiful new banners that have been on the altar the last couple months, say thank you to Karen M. and  Mary P.!

† YOUTH GAME NIGHT  On Sunday, March 14 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm GSLC will be hosting a Youth Game Night.  GSLC Youth (grades 6 – 12) and their guests are invited to join us!! Please RSVP (pmcguirephd@gmail.com) so we know how many to plan for.

† TINY TOT SUNDAY SCHOOL is being offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the nursery classroom by Doug and Peggy S.  It is a 15 minute class to get the little ones used to coming to Sunday School. 

† EASTER EGGS  We will be filling plastic eggs for the Sunday School Children.  Christian Education is asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy to fill the eggs.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

† THANK YOU  In the passing of my husband, Gary, words cannot express the humble gratitude and appreciation I have for all of you, my church family!  I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you for the generous prayers, cards, calls, wonderful food that was delivered to our house, and the most generous anonymous donations made and given to me and our family during this difficult time.  What blessings!  Gary would have been as deeply touched by so much love and support as I am.  Thank you.                             ~ Jan B. & family

† PEW SPACING  Next Sunday we will be removing the every-other pew restriction from the pews in the front half of the sanctuary.  When attendance  is higher and spacing is not priority for you, consider moving to the front to leave more room for others in the back.

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be singing in the 9:00 am service next Sunday, March 7. They have been working on a couple songs during the Sunday School hour that they would like to share with their congregation.

† MEAL DELIVERY  Good Shepherd’s week to deliver meals for the Over-60 Center is March 1–5.  If you can help with this worthwhile project, please contact Betty E.

† ALTAR FLOWERS  The 2021 flower chart still has several empty spots.  If your would like to put flowers on the altar please sign up on the list hanging on the wall by the water fountain.  It’s a wonderful way to honor a loved one, celebrate a special occasion, or to say “thank you, Lord” for blessings received.
