† IN OUR PRAYERS  Karen P., preparing for open heart surgery; Ruth B., recovering at home from surgery to remove a tumor on her voice box; Miles P., recovering at home from heart surgery; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† VBS BULLETIN BOARD  Plans for this year’s VBS, which will be held July 25-29, are underway!  Check out the Christian Education bulletin board in the Narthex.  If you are willing to help with VBS this year please be sure to complete the VBS Volunteer Sign-up Form located on the table under the bulletin board.   The sooner we know who is willing to help, the easier the planning process is.  

† SUNDAY SCHOOL has split into two groups.  We will have a group for the older students, 3^rd grade and above, and a group for those younger than 3^rd grade.  We would love to offer a High School class as well for those interested.  Hope to see you at Sunday School!

† TINY TOT SUNDAY SCHOOL is being offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the nursery classroom by Doug and Peggy S.  It is a 15 minute class to get the little ones used to coming to Sunday School. 

† WORSHIP NOTE  We have returned to the practice of kneeling at the Communion rail for the Sacrament.  As always, if you choose to stand you certainly may.  We will no longer be printing song sheets for the service, unless specifically requested.  Beginning May 16, it is our plan to stop offering the high precaution church service at 8:00 am.  We also plan on offering the common communion cup beginning today.  The common cup has always been optional  at our church and will continue to be.  If you would like to offer any feedback we would welcome it.

† BAPTISM  We rejoice with Logan and Ashley P. at the baptism of their son, Gentry P., in the service this morning.  Gentry was born March 2, 2021.  His sponsors are Austin and Kelsey B. and Nicole R.  We ask God to bless this family always with His love and grace.
