† MIDWEEK ADVENT SERVICES  As in recent years, Good Shepherd will provide midweek worship services at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm each Wednesday during Advent.  The next Advent service will be this Wednesday, December 15.  Please join us!

The rows in the back half of the sanctuary remain roped for those for whom spacing is a concern.

The offering plate is located at the back of the sanctuary.

† ADVENT DEVOTIONALS  Christian Education purchased devotional books to share with the congregation this Advent season.  “Symbols of Salvation” devotional books are available in the Narthex on the table by the nursery.  Please take only one copy per family.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM  This year’s Christmas program, “The Friendly Beasts”, will  be held next Sunday, December 19, at 6:00 pm.  Please join us as the children show you how the animals took a part in the birth of Jesus.  The students have worked hard and are very excited to share the story of Jesus’ birth with their church family!  There will be refreshments for everyone to enjoy following the program.

† OFFERING ENVELOPES  The 2022 offering envelopes are on the round table in the narthex.  Please remember to discard your 2021 envelopes and use only the 2022 envelopes beginning on Sunday, January 2.  If you do not see your name and want envelopes, please contact the church office.  Likewise, if you prefer not to use them and see your name, simply write NO on the label.

† PORTALS OF PRAYER  The new Portals of Prayer for the winter are on the table by the nursery in the narthex.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM  This year’s Christmas program will  be held the evening of Sunday, December 19.  Practices are being held during  Sunday School on December 5, 12, and 19.  Parts are being assigned, so if you would like your children to be involved please let us know. You can do this by letting your child’s Sunday School teacher know or by contacting Becky Chadd (chaddb@carthagetigers.org).

† LWML HOLIDAY MEETING  This Tuesday, December 7, the LWML will be having a holiday meeting.  It will be held at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a $5.00 gift for a gift exchange and a small snack food.
