† VBS  Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s VBS possible!  It takes a lot of help to put such a special event together and we really appreciate all the hard work.  This year’s VBS offering will be going to the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin!   What a wonderful and enjoyable week it was learning about how JESUS DOES THE IMPOSSIBLE!

† GSLC FRIENDS BIBLE STUDY GROUP will be taking a break for the summer.  They will resume again after Labor Day.

† VBS  starts today from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  It will run through Thursday, July 29.  Thanks to everyone who donated items for this event and also everyone who helped out with the VBS Work Day!  Children are invited to participate in the worship service held at 9:00 am next Sunday, August 1, when they will share with the congregation some of what they learned during their exciting week. It is going to be a wonderful week of learning and sharing God’s love!

† VBS will be held Sunday, July 25 – Thursday, July 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.   Student registration pages are available in the Christian Ed. area outside the sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form.  You may also register at https://vbsmate.com/events/gslcarthage.  If you would like to help out by donating items for VBS, please use the list posted in the Narthex area.  You can also help out by attending the VBS Work Day scheduled for Saturday, July 17, beginning at 9:00 am.  There will be tasks ranging from organizational and clerical to artistic and creative, so there is something for everyone.

† TINY TOT SUNDAY SCHOOL is being offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the nursery classroom by Doug and Peggy S.  It is a 15 minute class to get the little ones used to coming to Sunday School.

† VBS is scheduled for Sunday, July 25 – Thursday, July 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Student registration is NOW OPEN.  To receive a 2021 VBS T-shirt you must register by tomorrow, July 5.  Student registration pages are available in the Christian Ed. area outside the sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form.  You may also register at https://vbsmate.com/events/gslcarthage .  It’s also not too late to volunteer!  If you are interested in helping, you can also  submit a Volunteer Form at the  website listed above.  We would love to have your help!!

† FLOWER CHART  The flower chart has a few empty spots coming up in August and September.  If you would like to help with this please sign up on the chart next to the water fountain outside the office.
