† IN OUR PRAYERS  Jan G., recovering from knee surgery; Amaya, Jan B.’s 10 year old niece, suffering from COVID; Nolan P.,               recovering from open heart surgery; Karen P., recovering from open heart surgery; Ruth B., recovering at home from surgery to remove a tumor on her voice box; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† HOMECOMING RALLY DAY  To celebrate new beginnings and bringing our church family together again for a beautiful new year, Sunday School and  LWML will be joining forces for Rally Day 2021.  It will be held on Sunday, September 12 and will include Rally Day activities, a spaghetti lunch, and a pie auction.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone there to kick off a new year of Sunday School!

† JR CONFIRMATION CLASS will begin after Labor Day.  It will start with a parent meeting on September 8, at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.  Luther’s Small   Catechism with Explanation will be provided to each new Confirmand, but each student will need to bring their own Bible to class.

We are now printing large print bulletins.

† LWML MEMBERS  Dorcas Ladies Aid of Trinity Lutheran Church, Freistatt is inviting you to attend our meeting on Thursday, September 2, at 1:30 pm at the Ernte Fest Building on the north edge of Freistatt on Highway H. Michelle Tate will be speaking about the June 2021 LWML Convention.

LWML PAINTING FUNDRAISER is happening this Thursday, August 19 at 6:30 pm.  All the materials will be furnished for you to create and complete your very own 11×14 work of art.  Total cost is $25.00.  Please use the sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex. (There is a limit of 25 people) 

THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS  This would be a great time to come and join the Thursday Morning Bible Study.  We are beginning to study the book of Romans.   

MEET & GREET  For those who would like to attend, the M. family is having a come and go celebration to meet Gage M., Justin and Lyndsay M.’s baby boy.  It will be held today, August 15, at noon at Cheryl and Chris G.’s home, Carthage.
