† IN OUR PRAYERS  Mark K., Megan M.’s dad, hospitalized with an ongoing illness; Cindy E., recovering from surgery at home; Jim B., undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† BUNCO NIGHT  LWML is hosting a Ladies’ Bunco Night on Friday, March 7 starting at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall.  All women of the church are invited. There will be snacks and prizes!  No Bunco experience necessary.  If you can roll dice, you can play!  Please join us!

† ASH WEDNESDAY  Lent starts Wednesday, March 5, with Ash Wednesday and Good Shepherd will hold two services, one at 11:00 am and one at 7:00 pm  each Wednesday in March.  The Ash Wednesday Service will have the dispensation of ashes and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper

† LET’S SHINE! MISSOURI DISTRICT!  Make plans to participate in our annual statewide servant event this April 4-13. Simply form a group, find a need in your community, and serve your neighbors while being a witness for Jesus Christ.  Head to https://mo.lcms.org/shine/ to learn more and place an order for the official servant event t-shirts. (Please note: Shirts are available through March 4 or for as long as supplies are available.)  Can’t wait to see you all in action this spring. Shine on!

† CHURCH FOCUS QUESTIONNAIRE   With the January Newsletter was a questionnaire included about a focus for our congregation.  We are starting to take a look through them.  If you have completed one, we appreciate your response.  If you still have one out (even half done), we still want to hear from you.

† MUFFINS FOR MITES  Thanks to everyone who participated in the LWML bake sale the last two Sundays.  It was a success.  The proceeds will go directly to District and National Mites.

† LUTHERAN HOUR MINISTRIES SUNDAY  Today GSLC will observe Lutheran Hour Ministry (LHM) Sunday.  This is a time to highlight what LHM has to offer.  We have made regular use of their free Bible Studies over the years.  There is more information about LHM in the bulletin insert.

† MUFFINS FOR MITES  Today the LWML is having a bake sale.  The proceeds will go toward their Mites contributions, which is the money that is collected for the mission projects that the LWML sponsors.  Be sure to visit our table in the narthex today and take home some goodies to enjoy while helping to support the many wonderful missions of the LWML.

† CHURCH FOCUS QUESTIONNAIRE   With the January Newsletter was a questionnaire included about a focus for our congregation.  If you have completed it, you may put it in the blue wire basket in the narthex.  If you need a questionnaire to fill out, there are blank ones next to the wire basket.

† LUTHERAN WITNESS  It’s about your faith, your church, your world.  If you would like to subscribe to or renew a subscription to The Lutheran Witness, please use the sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex or give the church office a call, 358-1325. The annual cost is $20.65.  Please designate “Lutheran  Witness” if placing your payment in the offering plate.  The 2025 subscription year begins in April.

† TRINITY LUTHERAN SCHOOL FREISTATT is seeking a 5th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.  There is a flyer on the round table in the narthex with more information.
