Announcements — March 20, 2022

† IN OUR PRAYERS  Rhonda N., dealing with health issues from hyperthyroidism; Maggie C., recovering from COVID; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† BAPTISM  We rejoice with Alvin and Gretta M. at the baptism of their daughter, Elise Lynn M., in the service this morning.  We ask God to bless this family always with His love and grace.

† THANK YOU  While Megan and then Peter were in the hospital it was helpful to receive meals from various members in the congregation.  Thank you to everyone who contributed meals or any other assistance to us.     ~ The Mehls

† LENT started Wednesday, March 2, with our Ash Wednesday services.  We will once again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.

† BACK PEWS  We would like to transition away from the spacing between the back pews of the sanctuary.  If spacing is a concern for you, speak to a member of the Board of Elders or Pastor.

† EASTER EGGS  We will be filling plastic eggs for the Sunday School Children.  Christian Education is asking the congregation for donations of rolls of nickels/dimes, small prizes, or bags of individually wrapped candy to fill the eggs.  Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the church office.  Thanks for your help with this project!

EASTER LILIES  If you would like to purchase one or more  Easter Lilies to help beautify the sanctuary on  Easter, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.  They will be $8.00 each.  Please make checks to Diana E.  Of course, any lilies you purchase are yours to take home after Easter Sunday

† BAPTISM  We rejoice with Pastor and Megan Mehl at the baptism of their son, Peter Conrad Mehl, in the service this morning.  We ask God to bless this family always with His love and grace.

† ST PATRICK’S DAY FELLOWSHIP DINNER   The Fellowship Committee is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner this Thursday, March 17, at 6:00 pm.  The dinner will feature corned beef and cabbage.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.  If you plan to attend, there is a sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex.

† DEVOTIONALS  We have devotional books to share with the congregation this Lent season.  “In View of God’s Mercy” devotional books are available in the Narthex on the table by the nursery.  Please take only one copy per family.

† ST PATRICK’S DAY FELLOWSHIP DINNER   The Fellowship Committee is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Thursday, March 17, at 6:00 pm.  The dinner will feature corned beef and cabbage.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.

† CONGRATULATIONS We rejoice with Pastor and Megan at the birth of their son, Peter Conrad M., who was born on Sunday, February 20.
