† TREE OF LIFE VBS  Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s VBS possible!  It takes a lot of help to put such a special event together and we really appreciate all the hard work.  This year’s VBS offering will be going to Lutheran Family and Children’s Services!   What a wonderful and enjoyable week it was learning about GOD’S PROMISE OF SALVATION! 

† FELLOWSHIP BINGO  Mark your calendar for a night of BINGO and fun.  There will be drinks and a taco bar provided!  This event is scheduled for Sunday, August 14, at 6:00 pm.

† MEALS ON WHEELS   Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.  What a great way to help support our local community!  

† KIDS KITS  There are kids kits available in the narthex again!  Please feel free to take them to use during church and then they can go home with you.

† TREE OF LIFE VBS starts today from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  It will run through Thursday, July 28.  Thanks to everyone who donated items for this event and also everyone who helped out with the VBS Work Day!  Children are invited to participate in the worship service held at 9:00 am next Sunday, July 31, when they will share with the congregation some of what they learned during their exciting week.  It is going to be a wonderful week of learning and sharing God’s love!

† TREE OF LIFE VBS is scheduled for Sunday, July 24 – Thursday, July 28, from  6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Student can still sign up by using the registration pages that are available in the Christian Education area outside the sanctuary or you may also register at: www.vbsmate.com/gslcarthage.  It’s also not too late to volunteer!  If you are interested in helping, you can also  submit a Volunteer form available in the narthex.
