† LWML SUNDAY  Today Good Shepherd will be observing LWML Sunday. 

The ladies of the LWML will be taking an active part in our service today.

† OCTOBER NEWSLETTERS  The October Newsletters are on the information table in the Narthex.  Please pick up a copy.

† CIRCUIT FORUM MEETING   A big thank you to all those who helped with the food provided between the service and the meeting last Sunday.  The food was wonderful and it was greatly appreciated.

† TREASURER NOTE  For the nine months ended this September, our paid expenses totaled $183,098 while our income totaled $179,362, leaving us with a deficit of $3,736.  Our budget (both expenses and income) at the end of September was $182,807.

† PORTALS OF PRAYER  The winter quarter Portals of Prayer are on the information table in the Narthex.

† TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH IN FREISTATT is offering an authentic German meal as a community event on Saturday, October 18.  For more information, please see the flyer on the round table in the Narthex.

† A CIRCUIT FORUM MEETING will be held at Good Shepherd today at 4:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to a St. Michael and All Angels service followed by light refreshments.  After this, congregational delegates will meet for the forum.

† JR CONFIRMATION  Jr. Confirmation class is meeting each Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm.

† MEALS ON WHEELS  A big thanks to everyone who helped with Meals on Wheels in September.  What a great way to serve our community.

† YOUTH EVENT  Chad and Tracy K. will be hosting a youth event this Saturday, September 27 at  5:00 pm.  The event will be at their home and will include dinner, a bonfire, fishing, and pumpkin picking.

† TREASURER UPDATE  For the eight months ended this August, our paid expenses totaled $163,045 while our income totaled $154,717 leaving us with a deficit of $8,328.  Our budgeted income and expense year to date is $162,495.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY  Thanks to everyone who helped with the annual Sunday School Rally Day and the LWML Pie Auction last Sunday!  It was a big success.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED  We are in need of Sunday School teachers for the fall quarter.  If you would be interested in helping out in this area please contact Kayla H..  Teaching our children is a very fulfilling experience and we’d love to have you join the team.
