† 5^th SUNDAY POTLUCK  Join us on today for a Potluck immediately following the Quarterly Voters’ Meeting.  It will be a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs provided.

† MEAL TRAIN  While we continue to keep Cindy Eaton in our prayers we would like to provide their family with meals and/or gift cards.  We will be using the ‘Meal Train’ website (mealtrain.com/nldmgd) to organize this.  Please pass the word on to others who you know would like to provide something for their  family during this time.  If you are not comfortable or familiar with using a website like this, you can also contact Pastor, Denise or Megan to add your name and meal date/description for you.

† MEALS ON WHEELS  Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.  What a great way to help support our local community!

† THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!  From the donated items and financial support to all those who volunteered so much of their time, this       congregation continues to be amazing!  This week at VBS God blessed us with a great opportunity to share  His abundant and overflowing grace with a      wonderful group of kids.  Your generous giving made it all possible, and we are so grateful.

† GOD’S LIVING WATER VBS starts today from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  It will run through Thursday, July 27.  Thanks to everyone who donated items for this event and also everyone who helped out with the VBS Work Day!  Children are invited to participate in the worship service held at 9:00 am next Sunday, July 30, when they will share with the congregation some of what they learned during their exciting week.  It is going to be a wonderful week of learning and sharing God’s love!

† VBS WORK DAY  Thanks to everyone who came to help get everything set up for God’s Living Water VBS!

† VBS DONATIONS  Thanks to everyone who took a post-it note off the board for VBS donations, there are a few items left.  Please have all items to the church by the morning of July 23, so everything is ready for that evening!

†GOD’S LIVING WATER VBS begins next Sunday, July 23, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and runs through Thursday, July 27.  It is going to be a wonderful week of learning and sharing God’s love!  If you haven’t had a chance to register, student registration pages are available in the Christian Education area outside the sanctuary.  If you have questions you can contact Petra M.,  pmcguirephd@gmail.com.

† VBS WORK DAY  If you would like to help out with getting things ready for VBS please join us for the VBS Work Day scheduled for this Saturday, July 15, beginning at 9:00 am. There will be tasks ranging from organizational and clerical to artistic and creative, so there is something for everyone!!  Also, watch for a board in the narthex with supplies needed for this year’s VBS.  Please stop to check it out and see if there are items you would be willing to donate.

† PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING  Clarice O. would like to thank everyone for the prayers on the behalf of her son Brian.  His stem cell surgery was a success.

† GOD’S LIVING WATER VBS is scheduled for Sunday, July 23 – Thursday, July 27, from  6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Student registration pages are available in the Christian Education area outside the sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form.  Or you may also register at: vbsmate.com/gslcarthage.  It’s also not too late to volunteer!  If you are interested in helping, you can complete the form available in the narthex.  We would love to have your help!!  If you have questions you can contact Petra M., pmcguirephd@gmail.com.
