† LWML SUNDAY  Good Shepherd will celebrate LWML Sunday during the service on October 1.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL is back in session for the Fall.  Please come and join us each Sunday at 10:30 am as we learn about Jesus love together!

† SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN SING  The Sunday School children will be singing   in the service next Sunday, October 1.  They look forward to sharing with the  congregation what they have been working on in Sunday School.

† FLU SHOTS  Lacy E. will be offering flu shots after the service on Sunday, October 8.  If you would like to receive a flu shot at this time, you must contact her via call or text or email her at lacy@mitchelldrug.com by Friday, October 6, so that Lacy can contact you regarding insurance or copays ahead of time as well as bring the exact number of doses. Thank you!

† SAVE THE DATE  The Fellowship Committee will be hosting a Trunk & Treat in conjunction with the Hobo Dinner on October 29, starting at 6:00 pm.  If you have questions please contact Donya M.

† MEAL TRAIN  Now that Cindy is home from the hospital we would like to once again provide her and Dave with meals (which we had put a pause on during her extended hospital stay).  We will continue to use the Meal Train website for scheduling of meals.  As before, you can contact Pastor, Denise or Megan if you would like them to add you name and meal description for you.  Dave’s number is listed on the Meal Train website.  You can contact him to set up a good time to deliver meals.  They request nothing spicy and it is just the two of them at home now.

† THANK YOU  LWML would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated baked goods and everyone who participated in the auction last Sunday.  It was a big success!

† TREASURER’S NOTE  Following a special gift and together with our regular monthly payment, our mortgage balance is $284,164.61.  We estimate that the mortgage will be paid off over the next 7 to 8 years.

† WANNA TACO ‘BOUT JESUS? LETTUCE PRAY! – SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY  Sunday School classes resume today with Rally Day activities during the Sunday School hour.  This will be followed by a Taco Bar sponsored by Christian Education and a Pie Auction sponsored by LWML.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED Fall Sunday School will be beginning in September and we are in need of Sunday School teachers. Please contact Donya M., if you’d be willing to help in this area. We need team teachers as well as substitute teachers.

† HELPING WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES Good Shepherd is collecting Lysol spray, disinfectant wipes, and tissues for Martin Luther School in Joplin to help with offsetting the cost of school supplies. There is a collection box in the narthex.
