† SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL  Make sure to Join us today for the beginning of Summer Sunday School.  It will be a summer of games, challenges, prizes, and crafting as we study the fruits of the Spirit during the Sunday School hour.

† MEALS ON WHEELS  Good Shepherd’s turn to deliver meals will be Wednesday, June 5.  If you would like to help with this or have questions please contact Sandy D.

† POTLUCK  On June 30, a fifth Sunday, Good Shepherd will be having a Potluck after Sunday School and Adult Bible Class.  Please join us for some fun fellowship time.  There will be a cook out with hamburgers and hotdogs provided.  Bring a side to share.

† VBS is scheduled for Sunday, July 21 – Thursday, July 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Student registration is NOW OPEN, and we can’t wait to know who will be    joining us for the fun this summer!  Student registration pages are available in the Christian Education area outside the  sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form.  Or you may also register at: vbsmate.com/gslcarthage.  It’s also not too late to volunteer!  If you are  interested in helping complete the form available in the narthex.  If you have any questions you can contact       Kayla Hyland, khyland23@gmail.com.

† THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS There will not be class this Thursday while Pastor Mehl is on vacation.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will sing today during the service. They enjoy sharing what they have been learning in Sunday School with the congregation.

† SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday School will have its last regular session today. There will be a one week break for Memorial Day weekend so there will not be Sunday School next Sunday, May 26. † CORRECTION – LUTHERAN NIGHT AT THE BALLPARK  There seems to have been a miscommunication with the representative for Lutheran night at the ballpark in Springfield.  This will not happen on June 14, instead there will be a later date in August.  Watch for more information to come as it becomes available.

† LWML BAKE SALE  The LWML is having a bake sale today in the Narthex.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will be singing on Sunday, May 19, during the   service.  They will be practicing songs during the opening time of Sunday School.
